I am not quite sure how to put it it, but this place is AMAZING and I wake up craving the french toast, the salads, the coffee, the atmosphere, and the energy from the owners, staff, and customers alike. The food just can’t be beat. It has just the right amount of everything on the menu with a touch of espresso to boost any you on any given day. The walls are adorned with pictures of dogs and well, we LOVE dogs…and this place is very dog friendly. The outdoor cafe seating area is so nice on a spring day to watch the passersby and enjoy your brunch.I wouldn’t go anywhere else in NoLibs (unless Cafe La Maude was closed)…when you get there tell them Muttropolitan sent you!

I found my new favorite brunch spot! It’s such a cute, quaint cafe with just the perfect mix of friendly staff and warm decor. We ordered our food and got a cozy little table right by the window. The food came pretty quick; the three of us ordered the Open Faced Mediterranean Burrito, Croque Madame, and the French Toast with Mascarpone. They were all delicious in their own way!! Not to mention, their LaColombe cappuccino and double espresso was a perfect addition. Can’t wait to go back and try something new on the menu!

I should not even have to justify this rating with a review. I used to go to honeys (about 3 or 4 years ago) until one day I picked up a rue la la voucher for this place. That week I came back two more times, and I have not been anywhere else for brunch/breakfast in the city since. This is the ONLY place in the city where you can be made to feel like part of a family and eat the best food you have ever had at the same time. Everything on the menu is amazing; however, if you have not tried the caramel late or the hot chocolate I strongly recommend both. Also be adventurous when you go and try something different on the menu! If you are unsure what to get just ask someone behind the counter.

I found this little hidden gem when I first moved into Northern liberties, and am I glad that I walked in and gave it a chance. It was exactly what I was looking for! It was the the right place for GREAT COFFEE, an INSANE SUNDAY BRUNCH and Weekly BREAKFAST and LUNCH! THis place has became my home away from home… Go there, order the MASON SALAD… tell them that Phil sent you! Try them out! Five stars for sure!
